Dog renewal notices for the 2017-2018 licensing year have been either emailed or mailed to those Nashua residents in our database. The licensing year runs from May 1st to April 30th, so all dogs should by licensed by April 30th in order to avoid any late fees or civil forfeiture fees. If you are not sure if we have your information, please contact our office at 589-3010.
In order to license your dog, we need to see a rabies certificate and if the dog has been altered, either the spaying or neutering certificate, if it is not reflected on the rabies certificate. For more information on requirements on dog licensing, please visit the City Clerk’s web page by clicking on the following link: http://www.nashuanh.gov/193/City-Clerks-Office. You can also mail in your notice with the required fee. If you no longer own your dog, if you have moved or if you dog has passed, please contact our office at 589-3010 so that we can properly update your account.
The City Clerk’s Office in conjunction with the Environmental Health Department and the Humane Society of Greater Nashua will be hosting its 4th Annual Rabies Clinic on Saturday, April 29th from 9 am to 12 pm, in the back parking lot behind City Hall, located on Elm Street. The City Clerk’s Office will also be opened that day from 9 am to 12 pm, so that those residents may license their dog(s) that were just vaccinated.
