Grand Opening of the Arlington Street Community Center - October 28th

Celebrate the grand opening of the Arlington Street Community Center with a Halloween Party! Join us on Saturday October 28th from 10:00 am-3:00 pm for games, children's activities, a dance party, food and more! There will be a costume contest with prizes! All are invited to attend.

The Arlington Street Community Center, located near Dr. Norman W. Crisp School will provide motivating and engaging after-school and summer learning opportunities for area children, as well as essential health and social supports. The center will bring educators, families, and community partners together to offer a wide range of opportunities, supports, and services to our children, as well as their families and the community.

The community center project was one initiative developed from Nashua’s MBK Community Challenge, a collaborative call to action by Mayor Donchess. The challenge is based upon well-researched findings and expert recommendations from multiple disciplines, which conclude that coordinated efforts can improve the life prospects and outcomes for all our young people. By intervening at key moments in life, using evidence-based strategies and comprehensive approaches, we can remove barriers, expand opportunity, and improve outcomes for all.  The center is a collaboration between many Nashua providers, non-profit organizations, and city services.

We look forward to an exciting event as we celebrate the opening of Nashua’s Community Center at 36 Arlington Street in Nashua and hope you will join us.

The center will also be hosting an informational session for all individuals interested in volunteering on Monday, October 30th at 9 am in the community center.
