Main Street runs straight through the historic and cultural center of
Nashua. The downtown area is classic New England, reflecting the spirit
of generations before us and the continuing growth of present-day
commerce. A stroll along brick-lined sidewalks brings you past dozens of
vibrant shops and restaurants. You’ll find the latest fashions,
specialty items made in New Hampshire, and international imports. Enjoy a
world class meal, exotic cuisine or the best in comfort food and drink.
Downtown Nashua is uniquely retail, residential, municipal and
professional, all at once.
Downtown Nashua is the setting for a number of lively events that bring Greater Nashua together all four seasons:
The Annual Holiday Stroll, which takes place on the fourth Saturday of November, draws over 30,000 attendees every year in a traditional Victorian stroll from City Hall to Railroad Square where the City’s official Christmas tree is lit.
The Taste of Downtown, puts the focus on Downtown Nashua’s thriving restaurant scene in early June. Hundreds come to sample culinary delights from Downtown’s finest restaurants.
The Nashua Farmer’s Market takes over the Main Street Bridge every Sunday from June to October to provide fresh, locally-grown fruit and vegetables and locally-made food.
