Public Transportation

Since the Horse Drawn Railroad started in 1886, transportation services have been available to Nashua’s residents and visitors. Today, Nashua Transit System buses and vans travel 1,870 miles a day on routes that cover the city.

• Citybus is the daytime fixed route service, running on several different routes.
• After 7 runs in the evening along a few routes.
• City Lift offers service to senior citizens and passengers with physical disabilities, running on the same routes as Citybus as well as additional service areas.
