The City of Nashua, through the Nashua Business and Industrial Development Authority, has partnered with Long Island-based developer Renaissance Downtowns to plan for the redevelopment of 26 acres of underutilized industrial land. The Bridge Street site is located at the confluence of the Nashua and Merrimack Rivers and sits adjacent to the Taylor Falls Bridge on the way to Hudson, NH. The project promises to be a catalyst for change within the East Hollis Street Gateway.
Renaissance Downtown’s refined concept plan shows a mixed-use development with up to 700 units of housing situated in a village concept. The project will include supporting commercial and retail space.
A site plan for 170 units of housing and a riverfront restaurant was approved by the Nashua Planning Board last April.
