Nashua Arts Commission 2022 Grant Application

The Nashua Arts Commission has established this grant program to recognize the contributions made by local 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations, which have demonstrated a continued commitment to enriching the lives of area residents through Visual Arts and the Performing Arts. Grants awarded range between $500 to $5,000 with the ability of the Commission to lower the high end of the grant amount if the number of the grants and the amount of money available dictate a change.

Applicants must have demonstrated a commitment to community, education, and quality of life through a consistent expenditure of their own funds to provide programs which benefit the Nashua community at large. This grant is designed to offset some of the organization’s costs of providing programs at little or no cost to the citizens of Nashua.

Agencies that receive CDBG funding, Review & Comment Funding or other 505 monies related to Human Service Funding are NOT eligible.

In the event that proposed projects are unable to occur due to Covid-19, Nashua Arts Commission Grantees will be given the choice to:
A. Earmark their grant awards for future use once their approved project/event can occur safely
B. Allow NAC grant awards to be transferred to Covid-19 relief funds to be used as needed at the discretion of the organization
If option B is chosen, they must share how they plan to use the funds with the NAC Grants Working group by June 1st, 2022.

If you have questions about the application or review process, please call Amy DeRoche at (603) 594-3661 or email her at derochea@nashuanh.gov.
