New Residents

If you have never paid a registration permit fee to the City of Nashua or have not done so for more than a couple of years, you are not established as a resident in our database and will not be able to register a vehicle without proof of residency.

Required Documentation

To register, you'll need to bring in your current Driver's License or other official photo ID and proof of your address in Nashua.

License Deadline

Also as a reminder, if you have just moved to New Hampshire, you have 60 days to apply for a state Drivers's License (RSA 263:35). If you do not apply for a New Hampshire Drivers License within 60 days, you will not be allowed to renew your vehicle registration or register any other vehicles.

Vehicle Renewal in Different City/Town Than Last Year

You must bring your current registration and proof of your Nashua address to our office to renew. If you have lost your registration, you will need to provide your license plate number along with proof of address.
