The Nashua Fire Marshal’s Office is responsible to review all plans and inspect all work to see that it conforms to several building and life safety codes.
The City of Nashua is currently utilizing the State Building & Fire Code as the standard which references NFPA 101 Life Safety Code 2018 Edition, NFPA 1 Uniform Fire Code 2018 Edition, NFPA 13 Sprinkler Code 2016 Edition and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm Code 2016 Edition.
The Fire Marshal’s Office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Individuals requesting inspections should give at least 24 hours notice to the division.
All food trucks or trailers operating within Nashua City limits now require an annual fire safety inspection along with the Health Dept. inspection.
