Individuals who qualify as disabled under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) who are not able to use the fixed route CityBus services must complete and submit the appropriate application and be deemed eligible before being able to use the City Lift service. For more information regarding eligibility, please contact the NTS Operations Supervisor at (603)821-2030.
To make a reservation for Nashua Transit’s City Lift Paratransit Service, call 603-880-0100 by 5 p.m. at least one day before your trip. If there is no space available at your requested time, you may be offered an alternate time up to one hour earlier or later.
When you call to make your reservation, please have the following information available:
- Full Name
- Telephone number
- Date of trip & requested pick-up time
- Pick-up address & drop-off address
- Please let us know if you will be traveling with a companion or service animal
We’ll give you a 30 minute window of time when you should be ready for both your pickup and return trip.
Paratransit services are available Monday-Saturday, on the same schedule as our fixed route service. We accept reservations up to 2 weeks prior to your planned trip. On the day of your ride, please allow extra time for your trip. Meet the bus at the curb unless you need assistance.
We welcome service animals. Please tell us if you have a service animal when you register for the service. When making your reservation, please notify us if the service animal will be riding with you.
If you have a personal attendant/PCA registered with Nashua Transit, he or she may ride with you at no additional charge.
One or more family members or friends may travel with you if space is available, with each paying the ADA fare. Companions under the age of 6 travel free.
If you are going shopping, please remember that there is a 2-bag limit on the bus. Also please allow enough time for your shopping trip.
