What is it?
Senior Demand Response is a public transportation option for Nashua residents who are sixty-five (65) years and older on a space available basis.
The service is available Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Service is NOT available on weekends or on the following holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Seniors may also use the On-Demand Night Service from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM.

The Senior Demand Response service provides transportation within the City of Nashua.
The Fare for seniors is dependent on your destination.
- For trips to medical facilities, the fare is $2.50
- For trips to non-medical facilities, the fare is $5.00
This fare is for one trip only, therefore, you are required to pay a fare for both your destination trip and your return trip.
Demand Response passengers may pay with exact cash or purchase a Demand Response Ticket Book for $20.00. Each Ticket Book contains 8 - $2.50 tickets. NTS does not sell individual tickets, so the minimum that can be purchased is a single Ticket Book (of 8 tickets).
Ticket Books can be purchased by contacting the Operations Coordinator at (603) 880-0100 ext.3.
Drivers do not sell or accept payment for ticket books.

To receive Demand Response Transportation, please fill out our Senior application and return it to NTS.
