The City of Nashua Environmental Health Department is responsible for approximately 100 public pools and spas in the City of Nashua. These facilities undergo annual licensing, routine inspections, water sampling, plan reviews, and training seminars.
Routine inspections consist of:
Operation of pool equipment
Presence of test kits and operation logs
Safety equipment requirements
Basic pool side testing for:
Total dissolved solids
Routine inspections are usually conducted once per season for outdoor pools and twice for indoor pools. Site visits may be conducted as required.
